Vario Plus is a unique and revolutionary technology which allows you to adjust at will the transparency of a window, switching as required from a completely "dark / opaque" glass to a highly transparent one. This is possible with the simple touch of a button, to decide if total privacy is desired or if transparency is preferred to be able to see and be seen.
Vario Plus is a laminated safety or bullet resistant glass system with Nano Technology. A layer of tiny particles mostly crystals and polymers are trapped in between two other layers: these particles receive an electric impulse which results in the re-orientation of this emulsion to generate a "see through" surface or a "dark / opaque" one when they are not stimulated.
 
In this sense, when the window is in an "off" position the particles are at a random alignment, reflecting and scattering the light in all directions, blocking its transmission into the interior of the vehicle. When an electrical field is applied, all these tiny elements, microns in size, are instantly aligned making the glass transparent, allowing the light to go through the window in any direction. All this happens with the touch of a button and in a fraction of a second, providing total control and an immediate response.
VARIO PLUS POLAR allows you to switch between different levels of OPACITY: from a clear window to a completely opaque one, including all the states in between! Much like if you would have a blind at your own dispose in your window. A perfect solution when your desire is total privacy. VARIO PLUS is offered in two different versions, POLAR and SKY. Each one has different features and advantages, allowing this way to choose the one that better suit your needs. In the other hand, VARIO PLUS SKY gives you the possibility of adjusting the light transmission while retaining all the time the ability to see through, from clear to dark... and back! It would be like having several tinted windows in one! Additionally, with VARIO PLUS you will also have the following advantages: Excellent Sound Isolation: The glass windows are the weak link in noise transmission. However, due to the construction of VARIO PLUS, it is able to reduce the noise transmission up 50% when compared with a normal tempered or annealed glass. Maintenance just like a normal glass. Glass on both sides, therefore much more resistant to normal use than a window film. Can be used with any type of glazing: Annealed, Tempered, Hear Strengthened, and Chemically Tempered, Insulating glass Units, Fire Resistant, Intrusion Resistant and Bullet Resistant Glazing. Available in different Shapes (To be discussed with the technical department). Reduced Thickness: Through the use of the best of our technology VARIO PLUS can be offered from thickness as low as 5 mm, maintaining the same resistance and durability!
